The work began as a collage on canvas, combining mono-prints, tissue paper, and abstract sketches. Using gouache, I built up rich, layered colours and introduced texture with old brushes and pens to add an expressive, tactile quality. I then scanned the canvas and imported it into Procreate, where I refined the details and enhanced the piece with bold digital strokes and accents.
This work was recently on display in Victoria Square as part of the Birmingham Open 2025 exhibition.
